So many people struggle with the concept of being a Christian. Maybe you have become jaded by all the legalistic rules or the church politics involved in “Christianity.” Well, this blog is here to help you understand that being a Christian is all about a relationship with Jesus. Nothing else. My goal is to sort through all the traditions of Christianity and show you how living a life like Jesus is all about relating to Jesus personally.

I’ve been a Christian for over 40 years, and I have had to deal with the stigmatism of religion all my life. It wasn’t until after a bad experience as a youth pastor that I began to realize that following Jesus is more than just following a bunch of rules. It’s all about having a relationship with Him. Don’t get me wrong, the church is essential, and you should be a part of it. However, you should strive to be like Jesus and not some pre-defined picture of what the church tells you.
